i've plugged it with the usb cable and the phone says "ready to use with computer" but the computer does not show the phone in the removable devices tab. the phone is on, the cable is connected. help!
What model phone do you have? Do you have a memory card in the phone? For most devices, a memory card is required if you are using the Mass Storage or File Transfer modes on the phone.
