Dear SonyEricsson,
We all know the SE Satio is a mediocre mobile phone but you pay the jackpot of you want to purchase it. For the money people expect a good mobile phone. Those people who buy the phone from the release are realistic enouph to know that it may have some bugs or issues but that these will be fixed further on with software updates.
Thus far it had 2 minor updates since it's release. Since it release it had allot of issues, bugs and shortcomings. Why is a big multinational like SE failing so hard on support of his products? Is it because your focus is more on trying to make your company profitable again? And because of this the support of your many products is just an division which costs money instead of making it? Many Satio customer feel abandoned at this point. Do you think that this the best strategic management? One of the most basic principles of managing a company is getting a core customer base where you can rely on! You are now on systematically destroying a part of your customer base with (atleast) the Satio.
Don't you realize that the customer in times like these are more critical, less brandloyal and above all connected to the whole world through facebook, twitter etc. If you fail with one product this will have it's effect on the sales of the initial product as well as other products. Which will lead to the loss of customers and income. I read so many post from dissapointed SE Satio users and there are many people who don't post on internet forums who are unhappy as well.
I don't care what you do with the Satio anymore. My decision is that I move to another brand after about 8 years of SE phones. Many Satio users will do the same.
I'm looking forward to your annual reviews for the upcoming years. Maybe you made your company profitable for a few quarters. But as we all know, this kind of management will backfire.
