pc companion no longer shows backup and restore

used pc companion for several years and had a number of backups stored, but just updated the version of pc companion on the pc and its no longer showing the backup/restore tool.

how can i get this back?

Did this ever get resolved. I recently bought a Sony Xperia and downloaded PC Companion onto my pc. All the wizards are there EXCEPT Back up Restore which is missing. Anyone know where it is?

Hello,

I experience a similar issue with my wife's and daughter's xperia phones:

The backup option is no more available from PC Companion.

I'm using latest versions for XPERIA tipo and XPERIA J roms and latest rev of the PC Companion.

I have reinstalled already twice and tested the steps described earlier : same issue don't solve the issue , tested on 3 PCs ...

Any other thought ?

I have Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S and I have already restarted and reinstalled everything.. and I don't have the option Backup and restore.
