Phone drops network and water damaged

This phone is crap, got it with virginmedia contract. Hardly ever connects, when it does it drops signal all the time so its hard to have a conversation.

Not only that but when i was out it started raining, so i put phone away. It only took 5-10 seconds for rain to kill the phone however, waterproof, my **bleep**. less than 10 seconds rain killed it.

Sent it back to virginmedia who returned it sayinf water damage is not covered, and it will cost me £100 for them to send me a new phone (although same), i told them to go do one. 1. i wont pay £100 for a phone, especially for a **bleep** one like this. 2. I can probably find a better one at less than half that cost. 3. Phone carnt handle any rain at all nor can it hold a conversation, txt messaging is about all it can do (which was what i was doing at the time.

Not a very happy person, stuck in a contract for another 15mths (tried to get out of it) i may just cancel my direct debit payment and let them drag me to court, were i will give em a piece of my mind. So far anyone asking me what i think about xperia and i have been telling them, its **bleep**, carnt take rain, not waterproof at all, false advertising saying it is.

Were you told that the Xperia L was waterproof?
