Problem after upgrading to 23.0.1.F.0.96

Dear all,

My phone is Z3 Dual and I stay in Singapore while my phone is bought from Hong Kong.

Yesterday, I upgrade my Z3 Dual to the latest firmware stated above via PC Companion and I am having issues downloading Internet settings under the wireless and network settings of the phone.

It stated downloading but the settings are not downloading so there is no way to access Internet, I tried to configure the APN settings for both of my Telco then I can access the Internet.

I have no such issues previously when i got my phone and this is the first time upgrading the firmware, I have tried doing the PC Repair via the PC Companion and same issues persist so not sure whether I need to change the location for the PC Companion to Hong Kong in order not to havelock issue.

Can you not input APN settings manually?If you don't remember them, you should be able to google them

Yes, I can input it manually, not a problem.

Just want to check whether any such similar issue with this new firmware as I do not have such issues with the default firmware and upgrading my other Xperia models via PC Companion.

I've the same problem.

there is another problem:

if you are using Sim1 for Data and you switch to Sim2 from the "dual sim options" in the settings menue, you will find that Sim2 is used for data indeed but in GSM mode and Sim1 are still in LTE or WCDMA mode although it is already off.

to overcome this issue you have to switch data from sim1 to sim2 manually from the internet settings.
