Sim card tray missing

Greetings,I got my new Sony z3 compact a few days ago. Everything works fine but the sim card tray is missing and now I can't insert the card without it. Any suggestions? Thank you

I thought the Z3 didn't have one and you just pushed it in the correct way untill you hear a locking click sound

Are you sure? There should be a small plate that you can pull out and insert the SIM.

There is no such tray, at least not in my phone. I've tried putting it in but it got stuck so now I'm afraid to do it again

Can you grab a pair of tweezers and pull it out?

Yeah, I went to a handyman and got it out. He said that there is definetly a part missing because in no way should the card just go in by itself, it needs that tray. But when i put the card in before,xperia reckognized it and reset. But it didnt ask for a PIN or anythng afterwards

No sony support in my country 😕  Is it possible to simply connect the tray additionaly, there are a lot of such things on ebay for 5 pounds or so. The phone works just fine except for that issue

Well you learn something new everyday - I never knew it had a Sim tray - I thought it was like the M2
