Sony Z3 compact tablet a lousy tablet

Bought the Z3 compact tablet during the late Nov PC show. Using it for less than 2 weeks, then there is problem with the display. The so call TRILUMINOS display, what a lousy tablet. Regret getting it, should have bought Samsung or Apple Ipad. Those getting Sony should think twice.

Unfortunately, I can't pinpoint what the problem is that you experience. Could you please elaborate?

My tablet is now in the Sony workshop for repair. I haven't received my waiting for repair tablet. Using this tablet for less than 2 weeks, there is a white horizontal line at the bottom of the display. Sure a unreliable tablet. Likely won't bought Sony items anymore.

Sorry to hear about your experience. You did the right thing to take it in for repair. As for the users, I don't think there is much we can do for you here except maybe advise you to keep in contact with Sony Xperia support regarding your repairs. Good luck.

Call to check the status of my tablet, when I send it for repaired, they said it would take 5-10 days, when call them up, they now said it would take at least 2 weeks, **bleep** angry. What kind of service is this. Better think twice before buying SoNY products again. Slightly_frowning_Face

@JoeNg watch your language. So the issue is that you had a defective tablet and I don't know about your country but here in the USA you could get your money back or at least a new unit ( restrictions apply), with that said, you are upset bc your local Xperia Care is waiting for the parts to fix your tablet, assuming that apple and or Samsung will have all parts ready? Cone on, contact your local Xperia Care and let them know how you feel, this forum is for us, users to help each other, keep that in mind and do please read the forum rules/guidelines

The tablet bought is brand new and used less than 2 weeks. The customer service say it would take 5-10 days. Now it say at least 2 weeks. There is not one to one exchange even the set is defective, only repair. Think other company would do better. Would u buy something that is not reliable.

Each country its different, did you asked if you could return the device and get your money back?

There is no sure thing as return n refund here. I have send for repair n it almost 2 weeks n they say it's still waiting for repair. When I send for repaired, they say 5-10 days, when I call lately to check. They say at least 2 weeks. How to trust this kind of service?
