Xperia Z1 screen light turns off

Hello, recently I've been experiencing some problems with my Xperia Z1. The light on the screen suddenly turns off and then it slowly turns back on, it mostly happens when I play some games so I think it might be a overheating problem. I would be very thankful if you gave me some feedback on this subject.

Is it a specific game?

I don't have too much games on it, but it's the ones with higher "system requirements"

I think you should contact the developers of those specific games that make you trouble.

I was able to duplicate this issue, if you play games or even watch videos and your phone gets hot it will lower the brightness

In this case,it is a security measure.

I believe so, as it happens not just with video games but with videos, browsing etc.
