Xperia Z3 D6603 screen brightness very low

Hi

I purchased a Xperia Z3 D6603 model from US but the screen brightness is very very low. Even with full brightness and auto brightness unticked the phone's screen brightness is way way low than other Xperia devices. I compared the brightness with D6653 model and found that brightness of my D6603 is veruy very poor.

Can this be returned?

You could try a Factory Data Reset on the device first, as it may be software causing the issue.

Menu > Settings > Backup & reset > Factory Data Reset.

Make sure to backup the handset first.
