Phone won't turn on anymore (wrench & screwdriver in triangle)

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help. My phone had an update the other day and then died when it was restarting. Now it just keeps turning itself on flashing up with the screwdriver and wrench symbol and then turning off again. I've left it on charge and it repeatedly does this. If I take it off of charge it drains the battery by constantly doing the same thing.

I've done a hard shut down and restart and it have charged it up whilst it is off. Restarted it and still just shows the symbol. I've tried connecting to the PC and it does the same thing. This has been going on for 4 days!

Something went wrong with the update, it seems, the system files are broken. 

Use Xperia Companion via your PC to repair the phone's software. Unfortunately, this will reset your phone and delete your personal data in the internal memory, but it's the only way I know of to get your phone running again.
