Sony FDR-X3000 Successor

It’s been over 5 years and there is still no information about a new Sony action camera, specifically a successor to the FDR-X3000. Other action cameras are no option as the form factor of the FDR-X3000 is the best hands down. Does anyone here know anything and is there a chance that there will be a successor or new Sony action camera?

Hi,

I'd say that actually nobody knows and if someone working with Sony would know he/she would not be allowed to talk about it. My personal opinion: It seems as if Sony unfortunately will not continue producing their own line-up of action cams and that's really a pity.
