SanDisk Extreme Pro 400GB V30 A2 (read write speeds up to 170/90) gets only about 30MB/s on the Xperia 1. (Tested via A1 SD Bench)
Why SD Card speed is limited to 30MB/s?
It seems All Xperia flagships (excluding Xperia XZ Premium,XZ1,XZ1 Compact) have this limitation.

Any answer from sony mobile engineer on this topic?
Sony, can you respond? For a 4K display phone, it should allow fast speed. Thanks
Maybe they do not limit it but use cheap reader in X1

So, it is a software limitation...
Can be fixed by software update..
But as always, Sony mobile will never fix this problem.
Wouldn't the larger the SDcard, 400GB, the slower the write speed. It's the card vs the phone. No?
For example when I switched to 4K video option it asked if I want to use internal memory. Since a 64GB Ultra cards are made for recording 4K for it's faster write speeds.
I have my own small issues; I currently use a 400GB SDcard. Once and a while when I pull out my phone to take a picture I get an error like 1/4 times randomly my Xperia 1 can't read my SDcard. I partly think it's to large for a its own good.
