Why is there no compact flagship among new phones?

I look forward to flagship phone with screen of 5-5.5 inches

I hope you're joking as the Xperia 5 isn't even close at what an XZ1 or 2 Compact are.

Of course marketers are right saying it's a compact, but they forgot to add the Xperia is just more compact than an Xperia 1 

Sony just continues to litteraly sink... It's just now another random brand cloning what others brands are making: dumb phones which sure can do a lot of things but doesn't do well any of those.

I'm surprised you're not satisfied. Xperia 1 is already narrow, and Xperia 5 is really narrow!

Jumping from an XZ1 to Xperia 5 will be a large disappointment in the software side for you than it's actual form factor I would think.

As already mentionned in another threads you obviously didn't read, its not a matter of how narrow new Xperias are but how tall they are.

Could new Xperias can fit in pockets without being uncomfortable? Definitely no.

Could they be hold and used one handed without requiring ugly software hacks? Again, definitely no.

You completely ignore what compact phone's users want.

Time to move on another brand when we'll need to replace our compact phones.
