Dear Sony, 

Why? Why? Why do you keep shooting yourself in the foot?

I was watching the Sony announcement this morning and even if glitched out in the middle, I know for sure I want this phone and I know for sure many people want it too. But it will not sell. At all. Again. And I really hope you know why... It's available in June?? I was ready to preorder today and was contacting providers in the UK to see when it will be in stock, but apparently by the time I will be able to get it it will be old news. It seems like you have no marketing companies to help you out, please hire one... And if you do have one, fire them. The Galaxy S 10 is already on pre-order.

I adore Sony, have the XZ3 and really want the 1, but we all know it won't sell because you don't know how to sell them. The anouncement on MWC was not relatable either... I love them so much, but why don't you want your phones to sell?

Looks like they have a marketing problem. Low sales = low income = low available money to make awesome marketing. Over the years it has slowly degraded to where we are now. A release in June is too late.

I´ve heard that June is for the US market and Sony Xperia ES says that X1 will arrive in spring. I know that June is under this umbrella, but perhaps X1 could be available in may.

Worth noting that xz premium was released in June after a MWC announcement and still was probably the highest selling from that release cycle.

The XZ was higher selling than Samsung S8? 😕 I think I was the only one that bought it from all the people I know... 

It's worth thinking about the current situation on the market, not from two years ago... Samsung announced the S10 and it will be in customers' hands from March 8th. It is the direct competitor of the Xperia 1. I'm saying this from a point of view of a Sony fan that really wants this phone to succeed, it deserves it. Unfortunately, I think it will be too little too late again

I would have literally pre-ordered it today if it was available like Samsung is.

Sony Mobile PT confirme to me that they are expecting the device between March and April.

I asked the Sony eStore, they had no idea, Three mobile didn't know anything either, Carphone Warehouse nothing... All the news websites said June...

Oh, and I'll make a nice and thorough YouTube review asap, those are lacking Sony!

Very disappointed in this release. I was hoping to replace my P20 Pro. I had read early reports about 52MP and 4000 battery, I was in. Now with 12MP and 3333 Battery I'm out.

I think we both know that that comparison has nothing to do with release date. Unless of course you honestly do believe that the xz premium would have outsold S8 if released at same time. If so.. I have some bad news.

They won't know until the reps or purchasing team give them info.

Because most YouTubers are in the pockets of other brands, celebrities too, there are a few out there tho that like Sony products, some are even members of this forum.
