Dialler App not working

About a month ago my phone stopped taking or making calls. When attempting to dial a number the dialler app would freeze causing the phone to cause a restart.

I have tried the following:

• Restarting in safe mode
• Updating the software in Xperia companion
• Performing a factory reset (including reseting without using my Google log in so that none of the apps would be transferred over)
• Doing a factory reset without logging into the wifi network so that no updates were downloaded

I am well and truly stuck. Any help suggestions pls?

I have the same problem. When i try to call someone the screen turns off...and it does nothing. When i press the lock screen button the notification led turns green and restarts. When i receive a call  and i amswer the phone instantly restarts. Any solutions?
