Unfortunately not, the mid-range phones never get Remote Play. Only the flagship phones do. That means the Xperia 1 will get it.

Hi @Emkuzet!

Remote Play is not listed in the specification on the website for the Xperia 10 or Xperia 10 Plus, but it is mentioned in the specifications for the Xperia 1, just like @pressefr mentioned.

I hope that answers your question! Slightly_smiling_Face

Remote play won't look great on that screen anyway, huge black bars on the sides...

I'm playing PSP games on my XZ3 and it's already a bit annoying. Was hoping to see what improvements the SD855 would bring to the Wii games, but sadly Sony doesn't want to sell it to me for months from now Slightly_frowning_Face

Hello everyone again!

PS4 system software version 7.00 introduces support for PS4 Remote Play on phones and tablets running Android 5.0 or higher. The update enables usage of PS4 Remote Play - with the phone's touch display for game control - on Xperia devices which did not support PS4 Remote Play at launch. The preconditions are that the customer has upgraded their PS4 device to system software version 7.00 and installed the latest PS4 Remote Play App.

But unfortunately it does not support the use of the controller. Or is there something I'm doing wrong.

Hi @DocNate, welcome to our forum!

That is correct. For devices that did not come with Remote Play pre-installed, Android 10 is needed in order for you to connect your Dualshock PS4 wireless controller to the device.

"Any Android device running Android 5.0 or higher can play PS4 Remote Play games using on-screen controls. Devices running Android 10 or higher can connect to a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller via Bluetooth."

This text can be found a bit further down on the website under "Android devices".

This means that in your case, you can only use the service and play with the phone's touch display for game control.

I hope that answers your question and for now, I don't have any information regarding which devices will be updated to Android 10, but hopefully the Xperia 10 Plus will be, so you can use the controller instead! Slightly_smiling_Face

Have a nice day.
