If I use the Hânhel wired remote trigger that sets the exposure time and time between shots on the A7IV, should the settings be set to BULB mode or is it not nessary?

I can't see this remote in the compatible accessories section in the support page of this camera.

However, I suggest that you test and try. Also, you can check the Help Guide of the camera and the remote control that you have.
