4k input

I have just got a 49xg8096. I am having sky q installed soon, but I am not sure how to get 4k images. I have read I have to enable enhanced content in the settings, for HDMI 2 and 3. Will this TV not display 4k via HDMI without doing this??

Have you follow the Sky Setup?

To change your picture resolution to Ultra HD:

1. Press Home on your Sky remote.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Select Setup, then Audio visual.
4. Choose 2160p (UHD).
5. When prompted to select 8-bit, 10-bit or Find it for me, select Find it for me to find the right setting for your TV.

I'm Sorry, now I've understand, Enanced is for HDR end not for 4K, the TV's is 4K by itself, HDMI or not...

Thanks. Not sure if sky q supports her yet, but the 4k Blu-ray player I am buying does. I suppose it won't make much difference if it's enabled on a device that doesn't support it.
