Is it OK to expect Android Oreo on 2017 Sony Android TVs?

Well, I have some other smaller problems with Oreo.
First of all, it looks more stable, than the previous, this is a positive change.
On the other hand, some issues.
The video player app does not shows folders on my external hard drive, and it shows thumbnails, instead of file listing. It makes the file names longer than 15-20characters, unreadable.
I arranged my TV channels into favorites. The TV often forgets, that I'm in the favorite channels, and chages back to all channels. It is bad, because my provider (UPC) lists hundreds of channels, most of them are SD/HD versions of the same channels, and many of them are not in my subscription. I have to set the program guide back to favorites again, and again...
Even, when I select a HDMI input, it exists from favorites, why???
My previous TV, never forgot, what favorite listing I'm using.

According to reddit:
Plain DTS tracks appear to be fixed (using the built-in Videos app). DTS-HD MA tracks play for a few seconds (via DTS fallback) but then go silent. At least it doesn't hang like before and the video continues playing so you can switch to another track.
YouTube HDR is the same as before -- it still doesn't automatically change the Brightness, XDR, etc. settings.

Haven't encountered any issue with AC3 with any app, also the stock Video app.

You may be right I'll report back after I test some AC3 files...
Anyway how long do you think that we Europeans are going to wait for this update?
