Bluetooth

I have just bought a Sony WH-1000XM£ headset to use with my Sony KD-43XD8099 TV.  Is it possible to connect with Bluetooth or was I given  (accidently I'm sure) wrong information by the retailer?

Sorry your KD-43XD8099 doesn’t have the A2DP Bluetooth profile to connect to any Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
