Unfirtunately we do not get advance notice of firmware updates. Keep an eye on the usual pages for notifications.

Sorry, I couldn't resist! More seriously, there will be a firmware update in February for Android 7.0 TVs with the X1 extreme co-processor. This to enable the Dolby Vision support. Since the pkg file is the same for all Android 7.0 TVs (so called ATV2) the other ATV2 TVs may get an update as well. Whatever that will fix/add anything else isn't given to know, though.

Thanks for the info...so normal X1 processor TV's won't see dolby vision on 2017 ATV (55XE8505 to be specific)...that sucks
