My advice, you would be better off phoning them during the day.
@lesleywilton - By any chance, are you using a 'set top box' such as a sky box, freeview box, or one provided by a cable provider to 'tune in' your programmes?
I believe Audio Description is a feature of DVBT-2... I don't think your TV's tuner is 'Freeview HD'? - (it's standard DVBT). Therefore if you're using an external 'box' (tuner) to get the HD channels, the control to turn audio description on or off will be on the remote for your 'box'... Not the one for the TV.
Had the same problem ( 4K UHD x 65” Bravia).
Turns out it was the Freesat box, and not the T.V at all.

Where is options button

Hi @Bella_confused Back in 2011/16 (years ago) Sony remotes had an Options button. If you don’t see an Options button on your remote then you have a newer TV. What is its full model number and what is your question. Better to start a new thread with these details.
Why are you tagging on to a question that was asked in 2011, you should start your own question.
You should include what model of Sony TV you have, and the exact nature of your question.
If you are asking about Audio Description and how to turn it off then do so.
The remote controls on Sony TVs will have changed over the intervening 13 years since this post started
as will have the operating system and the paths to various settings.
If you want to switch off Audio Description.
Press the Settings button on the remote control, (gear or spanner symbol).
Select Settings onscreen, Click on System then Accessibility> Audio settings (Broadcast)> Audio Type
(Audio Description), sel to Normal for off, or any of the other options you may want.
The above may not be the exact path to your Audio Description settings but may be similar.
Without knowing exactly which Sony TV you have and the exact nature of your problem.
And if like the others that joined in in this post you may be watching TV via a Freeview or Freesat box/ PVR then
Audio Description will be provided by the settings on the particular box.
If you want your question answered then include as much information as possible.
