Sky Q is connected to HDMI 2 and this problem occurs on all picture resolutions on the Sky Q and Enhanced HDMI signal format on the XE93 switched on or off. Turning off the Info Banner in the Channel Channel setup does not stop it appearing. The XE93 on 6.2671. Sky Q on Q050.000.83.00L
I repeat this behaviour did not exist on the XD93 and has only appeared since I changed to a XE93.
OK, I have found the root cause. It is the Audio being received by the HDMI port. For example if you change channel on Sky Q from SD BBC 1 Local (PCM) to HD BBC 1 HD (DD) the Sony Info Banner appears.
Also I have discovered that rebooting the TV after switiching off the Info Banner in Channel setup works.
Whereas the above is a work-a-round I would prefer to display the Info Banner when I change HDMI input. Fix required please.
