Hi Stewartgordon4,
I've heard that this issue is related to the Android core services app.
Can you make sure that the version installed is 1.8.5 or higher? You can check it by pressing on HOME - Settings - Apps - Android TV Core Services.

Hi Stewartgordon4,
Is your TV running the latest version of Oreo? You can find the software version by pressing on Help - System Information. The latest version is PKG 6.6520

Hi Stewartgordon4,
I found some troubleshooting steps on the Sony website. Could you try them, they're available through this link: http://bit.ly/2CBZnHf.

If the message is to be believed then it is sensing a problem with your Ethernet network. Prior to v6.6510 I didn’t get any warning but after updating I got the same message. I tracked it down to one switch which I replaced. I haven’t seen the warning message since. I suspect the update has introduced improved monitoring.
Hi Stewartgordon4,
I've heard that this might eb related to the DHCP IP configuration. Could you try to change the DHCP IP configuration to IP-V4 as explained here: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/televisions-projectors/articles/00017181 ?
