Kd65xe93 and ct790 soundbar

Is there anyway to control the soundbar with the tv remote? The amount of times I cannot find the smaller soundbar remote is particularly annoying when two sony products don't be seem to be speaking to each other. The tv remote raises and lowers the volume but it doesn't control the menu screen so if I want to change soundbar inputs I cannot do it without the soundbar remote. Thanks for any help

Hi @Alfcast123. Have you tried using the Action Menu -> Sync Menu -> Control selected device? Once this is selected the CT790 controls appear on the Action Menu.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I have tried this and it does bring the menu up on the right had side of the screen but this has the options such as Clearfield audio, standby etc. It doesn't allow you to control the inputs or navigate the home screen of the sound bar menu. I'm pretty sure that when I first setup the tv the tv remote controlled the home screen of the sound bar.
