XR55-A90J few months old. On a couple of occasions I have found the TV stuck in Ambient mode. Pressing TV button/Guide etc. do nothing. You can get sub screens to pop up for example the settings, or inputs but if you select any of those options let's say Settings the ambient mode will not disappear. Only solution is to power off switch off at socket leave for a few minutes and switch back on then all ok.
Has anyone experienced this?
Sony ticket logged but not really much help i.e. factory reset unplug and restart (already done) , check latest software release etc.
I have changed the power on setting to apps rather than last known mode which I hope may force it to always be in the apps screen rather than ambient. Only happened a couple of time but would like to understand why?
