My Sony bravia kdl-42w805b dont have a lot of apps

Hello there,   I have this issue with my TV Sony bravia kdl-42w805b when I bought it it had a lot of apps but it doesn't.  I wanted to watch something on HBO GO ans couldn't find the app. The software of the TV is the latest for the TV. Even the browser is no working. Could it be that Sony had stop the support for this TV. And can someone tell me how to download hbo go on the TV.  Except from the store.

I’m afraid your (non-Android) TV cannot load any new apps unless they are included in a software update. You should note that HBO GO is only available in the U.S and certain U.S. territories.

The best way to go is to buy a smart streaming stick or box to add to your TV so you can download and view modern apps.
