Small white dots in 2160p - RGB on PS4 Pro

Hi!

I just got my KD-65AF8 and hooked up my PS4 Pro. In 2160p - RGB small white dots are flickering on the screen, both in games and in the main menu. I've tried inputs 2 and 3, but they appear in both cases.

I don't have the problem in the 2160p - YUV420 resolution.

The dots really aren't that significant, but they are there....and that's enough to ruin the experience....

Hope that someone can tell med what to do about it....

Regards

Martin

Hello @Emenel47,

that sounds to me like the HDMI-cable is not up for the job. :slight_frown:

I assume the other color mode transmits more data.

Maybe get one with a higher data-rate specification or one which is better isolated against electronic interference.

Are you using the cable which came with the PS4 Pro as I agree with IamNic. The cable which ships with the PS4 Pro should be up to the job. If not see if you can get another cable.
