I have a Sony Bravia Kd55xd7005bu. I use it almost exclusively with an Apple TV 4K. It was working fine until about a month ago when I noticed the Apple TV remote would no longer wake the TV up. I have to now turn on the TV using the Sony remote and it starts up from 'cold' as if it's been turned off at the plug. Once it's up and running the controll through HDMI is perfect. It also only happens sometimes - seems to be if left overnight.
ECO mode is disabled. There have been no recent software updates I'm aware of. I've tried changing HDMI cables and power cables.
Any suggestions? Could it be a built-in power supply issue?
Hi there,
Welcome to the community.
There are some TV remote troubleshooting tips here that may help. We'd recommend consulting the product website for your 3rd party remote.

Hi Ed, thanks for the response. But the remote isn't my issue. As I mentioned in the description, it's the HDMI-CEC control that is being prevented from turning on the TV because the TV has gone into 'Full Sleep' mode (i.e. as if it had been turned off at the socket).
Any other suggestions? Otherwise I will have to return under warranty. Thanks
Hi jamiedgwilson,
Did you try to unplug the TV from the mains for a couple of minutes? If that didn't work, I'd suggest that you reset the TV to factory defaults:

Thanks, TV been off and it's been reset to factory settings a number of times - still happening.
Hi Jamiedgwilson,
What's the current software version installed on your TV? You can find it by pressing on Help - System Information.
