I have a Handycam DCR-DVD150E.
I have copied all my video files to my Windows 7 PC using PMD. No problem.
Now I want to delete all the files on the camera's DVD but it will not let me do it.
It will not me even delete the latest video; just error messages.
I have spent an hour using the operating guide without sucess.
Can I remove the DVD and delete the files on my desktop?

Thank you. I thought a re-format might be needed; if a bit drastic!
Clever of it not to lose the date and time.
