Hi All
I've been onto Sony Support and even though they say it is compatible with windows 7 it is not!
I've tried to upload the software from the CD provided but it wont work as it says its not compatible, so I've downloaded the usb drivers file from Sony but when I plug in the camera and ask it to find the driver it cant find it and cant find one on line so the pc doesnt pick up the camcorder. How am I supposed to get my video from the camcorder onto my PC? Cheers

The cable provided is an i Link one but the device does not get picked up. I have movie maker, the only problem is getting the handycam recognised by the pc.
USB connection is only supported in Windows XP.
The Picture Package software is also only supported on XP or older Operating Systems.
I believe the only way to transfer video to a Windows 7 computer is to use an iLink (Firewire) cable and use an iLink compatible video editing program such as Windows Movie Maker.
I still keep an older XP computer running for using old legacy products. Things move on!
