Just coming here to say , "Hello"!

I'm an old fella from the West Midlands, UK, and have recently bought a Sony DSC-WX500 camera. Just a happy amateur snapper, I switched from fillum to digital about eleven years ago, and find it suits my purposes very well. I was looking at buying a long lens for one of my other cameras, but the expense was eye-watering. I wouldn't use a long zoom very often, so I decided to try a pocketable camera with a 30X lens built in.

Had it about a month, and glad I bought it. As a basic camera, it is very satisfactory. Using the lens extended it needs plenty of light to give decent results, but that is to be expected with a compact camera using a small sensor, and a long zoom.

I'm a fairly active old cove, and like to get out and about. Unfortunately, my wife is practically house-bound, so I take lots of photos of my outdoor activities, so "her indoors" can see what I get up to - or what I choose to show her! I always carry a camera of some description, even when going to the shops.

Don't know if I'll use this forum much - I've just registered on mysony and decided to look in.

Don't just limit the photos for 'her indoors' pleasure, why not upload and share your images in the Photo Gallery

Hello I have a few problems with my KDL-55W755C. I seemed to have fixed an issue by reseting everything to factory settings, but I am not sure it holds. I would like to start a thread or topic about this. How do I do that?

I would say to go to the TV section of the forum, and post a new thread via the post a new thread option you can click above the other questions.

I have a Sony Bravia KDL also, What exactly is it you want to accomplish, & What was the issue you wish to be rid of?

Did you reset the functions via the buttons on the TV?
