Have had this amp for some time now and as i had changed a couple of other parts of my system i decided to recalibrate the speakers.
Every time i go through this process i keep getting warning 40 telling me that it is to noisy and for me to try again in a quieter environment.
I am sitting alone in a room with no other noise at all.
I have tried various positions and how i set the microphone but get same message every time. The manual simply states to try again, it offers no help.
Anyone had similar issue but more importantly, any solutions out there.
Hi Nigel,
Welcome to the community.
I'll see if I can find this out for you. Maybe someone else in the community can help in the meantime.
Thanks,
Pascale
Have you tried disconnecting all of the cables and unplugging it from the wall for a couple of minutes to de-power? Making sure it's up to date is also a good idea.
Hi there and thank you for taking the time to reply. I tried what you suggested but get the same error message, warning 40. There is not another sound in the room so find it really frustrating. I have 8 speakers including subwoofer and 2 upward firing Atmos speakers. Speaker configuration shows as 5.1.2 (FD). I believe this is how it should show. Thanks again for any help.
Hi nigeldoc,
Have you tried resetting the system to factory defaults?
Cheers,
Rose
Spooky or what, i just came in and reset amp back to factory settings and tried auto calibration again. Then logged onto my emails to find your suggestion.
Anyway, i got the same error message, that i should retry in a quieter environment. Really frustrating.
Thank you so much for your suggestion though.
Hi Nigeldoc,
Hahaha what a weird coincidence!
Let me know how it went.
Cheers,
Rose
