Have had since Christmas. All worked OK until 2 days ago. BBC iPlayer has disappeared from the list of built-in apps.

I can find no way of re-installing it.

Anyone else come across this?

Same here, and the player is still on the BBC's list of certificated players and is not on the list of Sony players that no longer have the right security certificates to use BBC apps. Nothing on either website about it, no warnings given.

The BBC iplayer help page has the following message

We’re aware of some reports that the BBC iPlayer app has suddenly disappeared on some Sony Blu-ray players.
This is under investigation and we will update this page as soon as we have more info.

And as if by magic, the iPlayer app reappeared last night. Curious.

Yes. Mine has now reappeared but I had to select a new option at the top of
the screen next to 'All Apps' called 'Update Services'. That disappeared
after it had done its bit and iplayer was restored.

That's some great news, seems like Sony and BBC came through, hopefully others would notice this and have the app back as well.
