have just got xbox connect but cant play games as it wants it to be on pal 60 but when i put it on that the picture is fuzzy and has red shadows please help!!!

just got a xbox connect for my son but cant play games as it wants it to be on pal 60 but when i put it on pal 60 the picture goes fuzzy and gets a red shadow around evrything, my tv is sony bravia lcd projector KDF-E50A12U please help thanks

I have it on good authority from a colleague how has the exact same set-up (and had the same problem)  that this issue can be sorted very quickly by a Sony authorised repair agent.
