Sony BDP-S570 web search

I bought a BDP-S570 Sony blu ray player a while ago. Today I connected it to my wifi and was disappointed I couldn't access a web browser at all! I really wanted to use the web player for things like YouTube and other websites. Seeing as it's already connected to my home wifi I don't see why it can't access a web browser. Any help would be greatly appreciated as its apmost useless in its current condition. Thanks

Hi Alex,

Welcome to the Community. Unfortunately, Google announced in 2015 that it was no longer suppporting YouTube on certain devices, one of which was the Sony BDP-S570. You can read more about it here: http://bit.ly/2BOTWSC.

Thanks very much for replying. They said you can still use YouTube if you have a web browser. How would I brink it up? There is no option anywhere I can find for it. Is there a way to enable it? It's already connected to my wifi so it should work. Thanks
