Im hoping the Experts among us can finally solve a problem I have been having for a while.....I have a NAS drive connected to my Sony BDP S7200 BD Player via a cabled link to an Ethernet Port which is in turn connected to my BT HomeHub 5 Router. I have tried various Video File Formats but all have issues, Either they simply wont play and "freeze" the BD Player or the picture quality suffers and can be very "jerky" for want of a better word.
The method I try to watch the video files is via the BD Players main menu screen and simply select the VIDEO Option then Select the NAS drive Icon, which then displays the menu of Videos. Some do actually play but I dont want it to be a hit and miss affair, Id rather convert the files into the correct BEST format first time.
So can anyone come up with format the the BD PLAYER will play when streamed from local network HDD.
