i just purchased the Sony HT XT100 which I can connect via the optical cable but I cannot connect via an HDMI cable via the HDMI ARC SOCKET
By connecting with an HDMI cable will allow me to to switch the soundbasei and TV on with the tv control
I do not have a sky box to worry about and http was connected to a sony sound bar before.
When connected via the optical cable and the TV speakers are on there is an "echo" as both units are not synced
The sync menu will not let me sync everything together
Any help would help me as it is frustrating
