I have a Sony Bravia KDL-46EX505. On the system settings there is a DIVX registration code and a link to the DIVX website for registration. After completing the registration I downloaded the registration video file (which apparently must be played once on the bravia to enable DIVX).

My Bravia is networked to my PC where the file is stored and the Bravia can see all files videos pictures etc, except the DIVX registration video file????

Why is this and what can I do so that my Bravia can see and play the registration file?

I think this was for premium divx files only - but not sure anywhere actually retails these anymore. It was one of Divx's ideas that never really took off.

If your device can see your existing divx files, then I wouldn't worry abotu the registration code.
