Do I need a driver to connect my Vaio to a Bravia EX703 TV

When I connect my vaio to a Bravia EX703 TV via the PC-in connection it is not recognised on the TV. It works perfectly when connected to another screen and I have pressed FN F7 buttons. The Bravia just does not recognise anything in the input menu. Do I need to install a driver and if so where can I download it?

Should have said, I'm running Vista.

It was just a question of adjusting setting in TV - DONE and working!  Thanks to Sony support.
