Have a Vaio EB1E0E Series i3 laptop which started freezing and hanging so decided to reinstall operating system through Sony Recovery Tool software
Took ages to recover (1.5hrs!) and now the laptop will only boot to the Vaio splash screen and hangs continuosly
Tried booting using safe mode but gets halfway through the first script and then stops / hangs
Only way to shut down is to press the on/off buttton continuously
My laptop seems to be caught in some sort of loop
Tried F10 and reinstall the operating system again but same as above, gets to the first screen and then hangs
Any ideas whats going on
Unfortunately i didnt have time to burn a set of recovery discs and the laptop is out of warranty
Any assistance appreciated
