I'm sorry, I hope you got some help here, but this was the funniest thread I ever opened here. I assumed it was some kind of performance art.
Do you get this problem with the on-screen keyboard, or just with the hardware? Do you get it if you plug in a USB keyboard?
I think jimmy123 got some help from another thread.
If you look closely all the extra letters are from the bottom row of the keyboard. Jimmy's touchpad was also erratic. It all pointed to a hardware fault within the keyboard itself.

hi...thanks for the reply...no i didnt manage to sort this, I wish it was performance art but alas not...at least it brought some people some amusement though...I bought a mac in the end as ive had trouble with the vaio from day one
