No Sound from the speakers

My Vaio SVF15A1C5E Speakers have suddenly stopped working, i can still get sound on the headphones.

Have i somehow switched them off without realising, i've checked i've not muted them. Could any recent updates have caused the problem or would it be a hardware problem? Driver also say's it it up to date,

I have since updating to win 8.1 plus various update lost speakers, headphones even the bluetooth connection detects my devices phone and sound bar but has them tagged as disconnected, for a while i also lost the ability to connect my desktop monitor, no video other than screen. that seems to be ok now but no sound output either from my pc speakers 3.5mm audio jack or Bluetooth??? whats going on spend hours get it working by changing setting on homegroup or workgroup networks then it reverts back to the same just the symbol on task bar speaker with red X ?? please help

No solution from here or Sony customer service. I've had to send back to Sony for repair.
