Process tab missing from Task Manager

Hi, My new Vaio (1 month old) with Windows 7 does not have a process tab in the task manager. In fact it has nothing other than a simple window list the running programmes.

Any ideas?

Hi kenphotographer and welcome.

Open Task Manager and then double click on any light grey area of the window towards the outer edge. This should restore all tabs.

Many thanks, that's cracked it in One.

Don't know whether you can help another problem that's cropped  up today, but here it is.

When importing or copying pictures (including batch processing in Photoshop) the file is imported or copied, but at the same time a folder is produced using the image name and containing 2 further copies of the image.

Any ideas?

Hi Ken,

Unfortunately I am not familiar with Photoshop, so have no idea what is causing the duplicate files/folders.

I suggest that you start a new thread in the hope that another user that has Photoshop experiance will be able to help.
