Sony Vaio:pre-installed vista to Windows 7 worth it?

Hi all,

I've had a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ11Z for 3 years now with vista pre-installed, and to be honest I'm fed up using Vista for many reasons. I've heard that Windows 7 is much slicker with regard to operation, loading times, responsiveness etc etc

I would like to ask anyone out there if they have done a HD Format and clean install of Windows 7 Professional on their Vaio system and have had no issues in doing this?

I believe the drivers for windows 7 are available in the support section. Again has anyone had issues with downloading and installing the drivers for windows 7? DO they work fine?

Any comments of help is much appreciated.
