Sony Vaio VPCEH2D1E - Windows XP

Hi,

I want to install Windows XP SP3 x64 on my Sony Vaio VPCEH2D1E(Nvidia GeForce 410m, Intel Core i3 2nd gen, 320gb hdd, 8gb ram(4gb when I bought).

My question is where I can find drivers for all that I need?

(Including the FN+F1/F2/F3/F4/F5/F6/F7 buttons, for Touch Pad Disable, Volume control, Brightness control and Changing the window to a projector or other monitor).

I searched all over the internet but I can't find a trusty source. So please help me with this. Thank you.

Hi Tudrys,

As you have probably gathered this model is not supported by Sony for downgrade

to XP.

The utilities that control the functions you are looking for are usually model specific but you could search the support site for models that do support  downgrade from Win 7 to XP.

The chances of utilities from another model working on your notebook are slim.

Thank you for your reply Rich, but as I said, I don't know what source to trust. In my searches I found something, but I don't know if I can trust those sites. That's why I came here in the 1st place. I tought that someone with more experience in this stuff can search them for me and just post the link(and a little "How to" in case is something more complicated like on Win7, where u have to install some drivers in a order, in order to make the FN+F1...... work.)

Waiting for a more helpful reply, and thanks again Rich for replying
