I was disabling items on the startup manager, and in some cases deleting items in order to speed up the startup. My touchpad scrolling function has now stopped working. I'm using vaio VPCEB3JOE laptop with Windows 7.
My control panel device manager shows 'Mouse and other pointing devices' and then shows 'Alps pointing device' but there is no option to enable or disable the scrolling function.
Can anybody please help?
Many thanks.

Hi colyford1,
Have you tried reinstalling the original touchpad driver?

Select either the 64bit or32bit driver depending on your configuration.
