I wish to upgrade my laptop from windows 7 to windows 8.1, but as I tested it before I had some issues and reverted back to windows 7. The most annoying issues is the gpu drivers. The windows 7 drivers in windows 8 aren't working and windows update used generic drivers but the problem is during video playback there is no picture (black video) only sound. The same thing happens with video playback on websites using flash but with a green screen instead. I also tried the official amd mobility drivers and had the same issue.
Are there windows 8.1 drivers from a different model with same gpu that I can use?
