Noise Cancelling on Sony Ult

Does anyone seem to have a problem with the noise cancelling in the new Sony Ult? 

Mine seem to have trouble with traffic noises especially engines. It is so bad out om the road. I thought sony would have better noise cancelling performances witht their headphones.
