Hello,
On Sony bluetooth headphones (WH-1000XM3) when audio cable is connected to the headphone’s jack, indeed Bluetooth radio is turned off.
However I noticed NFC on the headphones still works even when the cable is connected.
My questions is how many, if any, NFC wireless EMF messages are transmitted over period of time ? I want to know this because I want to calculate the amount of EMF transmission that occurs due to NFC.
The WH-1000XM3 headphones ’ NFC chip is detected as Sony FeliCa RCS967 Lite-S Mode.
I want to know if the chips acts passively as a smart card would, without power?. Or does the chip actively send discovery messages in RF/EMF waves ?
How long after the headphone is turned on will the special “FeliCa RCS967 Lite-S Mode” NFC ”power saving mode” be switched on ?

headphone NFC doesn't send order, just receive. As a consequence it's passive
